Eight Privacy Design Strategies

Privacy by design requires that privacy concerns are tackled throughout the full life cycle of system development. In this paradigm, privacy protection is a system requirement like any other functional requirement, that must be addressed from the beginning, and that shapes the final design and implementation of the system. To support privacy by design, we therefore need guiding principles to resolve privacy requirements throughout the system development life cycle, in particular during concept development, analysis, design and implementation phases. NS kaartjes automaat station Nijmegen… mijn PIN code

Vandaar dat op station Nijmegen een plank is bevestigd bovenop de kaartjesautomaat.

Zo wordt voorkomen dat de camera linksboven, en het publiek boven op het perron je PIN code kunnen afkijken.

(De camera staat natuurlijk verkeerd om echt mee te kunnen kijken… Is de plank – en de waarschuwing- dan misschien bedoeld als ‘security theatre’?)
